Install Arkyvst and sign in
Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store and connect your Google account in one step.
- Install Arkyvst from the Chrome Web Store (use the Add to Chrome button on the Arkyvst homepage).
- Open drive.google.com. Arkyvst appears as a sidebar on the right.
- Click Sign in and choose your Google account.
One sign-in covers everything
Arkyvst uses a single Google consent screen that covers both signing you in and granting Drive access, so you won't see two separate prompts. On that screen you grant Arkyvst permission to read your file metadata and manage the files you tag — never the contents of your files. For exactly what that means, see What Arkyvst can and can't see.
On a work (Google Workspace) account, your admin may need to approve Arkyvst first. If sign-in is blocked, see Drive won't connect.
Using more than one Google account
Arkyvst supports multiple Google accounts on the same Chrome profile — a personal and a work account, for example — as fully separate workspaces. See Use multiple Google accounts.
Still need a hand? Ask Ask Arkyvst in the sidebar (avatar menu → Help), or email info@arkyvst.com — a real person replies.
