Edit, remove, and rename tags

On a single file

Select the file and click the × on any tag in the Tagging tab to remove it, or add new ones.

Rename a tag everywhere

If you want to rename a tag across every file that uses it (say wip → in-progress), do it from the saved-tag library in Settings. Renaming updates all files that carry the tag in one operation, so nothing is left on the old name.

Delete a saved tag

Deleting a tag from your library removes the chip. You choose whether to also remove it from the files that currently have it, or just retire the chip and leave existing files untouched.
