Free plan limits
The Free plan caps how many files you can have tagged at once.
The Free plan lets you have up to 1,000 tagged files at a time. Everything else — search, collections, the Untagged Inbox — is unlimited.
How the count works
- Only files that currently have at least one tag count toward the limit.
- Untagging a file frees up a slot.
- Editing the tags on a file you've already tagged is always allowed, even at the limit.
- Marking a file reviewed in the inbox (without adding tags) does not use a slot.
When you reach 1,000, tagging a brand-new file is paused until you either untag some files or upgrade. Individual and Team plans remove the cap entirely.
