Find files by tag or text
Search your tagged files by tag, by text, or both together.
The Search / Curate tab finds files across everything you've tagged. Type a tag (with typeahead suggestions) or click your saved-tag chips — what you type and what you click combine into one search.
Two ways to search
- By tag — type or click tags to filter to files carrying them.
- By text — search file names.
Results show as a list you can open straight into Drive. Use the sort and search options to order results and tune how matching works.
Filtering to files that have no tags yet? That lives on the Tagging tab as the Untagged Inbox. To combine several tags with AND/OR logic, see Combine tags and search operators.
