Close or reactivate your account
Closing pauses your workspace with a 2-year window to change your mind.
You can close your Arkyvst account from Settings. Closing shuts down your workspace but doesn't delete everything immediately — it starts a 2-year retention window so you can come back.
What happens when you close
- Your workspace is deactivated and you're signed out of it.
- A 2-year clock starts. Reactivate anytime within that window and your tags and library come back.
- About a month before the 2-year mark, Arkyvst emails a warning. If you never reactivate, the data is purged after the window ends.
Reactivate
Sign back in within the 2-year window and choose to reactivate — your workspace is restored as it was.
